  Can't Make It on Race Day?

All registrations are non-refundable. This policy is agreed to during the registration process before your registration is completed.

If you are unable to attend, you may transfer your registration before the start of your registered event.

To make a transfer, you must log into your RunSignup account, go to your Profile/Dashboard, select your registration, and choose Manage Registration.

From there, you may:

✔️ Transfer your registration to another participant
✔️ Transfer your registration to another eligible CaliFlow Runs event

CaliFlow Runs staff cannot manually transfer or change your registration for you. All transfers must be completed by the registered participant through their own RunSignup account.

Transfer requests sent by email, text, social media, or made in person will not be manually processed by our staff.

All transfers must be completed before the start of your registered event. Once the event has started or taken place, the registration is considered used and cannot be transferred, credited, refunded, or moved to another event.

No exceptions. Please manage any registration changes through your RunSignup account before race day.

Yes! Every participant receives a finisher medal the moment they cross the finish line—no matter the distance, pace, or place. We celebrate every runner.

YES!

🏆 OVERALL TROPHIES
Trophies are awarded ONLY to the Top 3 Overall Male and Top 3 Overall Female finishers in each race distance. Overall winners will be recognized during our awards ceremony.

🏅 AGE GROUP MEDALS
Age Group Awards are separate from Overall Awards and are awarded in 10-year age divisions. Age Group winners receive an Age Group medal — not a trophy.

If you place in your age group, you may pick up your medal from the Results Kiosk during the posted race-day award pick-up time.

You must be present on race day to receive an Overall Trophy or Age Group Medal. Awards are not mailed or held for later pickup.

Overall and Age Group Awards are race-day awards and must be claimed at the event.

We do not mail awards, hold awards for future events, or arrange weekday pick-ups.

If you leave before awards are available or do not claim your award before the event closes, the award is forfeited.

Please check your results and award status before leaving the event.

Bib pick-up is on RACE DAY ONLY from 6:00 AM to 8:00 AM.

Bib pick-up is located near the Start/Finish Line at the address listed on the Race Information Page for your event. Look for the Registration/Bib Pick-Up Tent.

We do not offer advance or early bib pick-up.

Bib pick-up cannot be arranged for another day or time. Please do not email requesting an early or special pick-up, as we are unable to accommodate these requests.

Plan to arrive on race morning with enough time to park, pick up your bib, and be ready for your scheduled start time.

Yes! We always offer same-day registration at the event, as long as the race isn’t sold out.

You can register right at the check-in table ( Race Ready Athletic Tents ) on race morning — it’s quick and easy! Our staff will help you select your distance, get you signed up, and assign your bib on the spot.

Registration opens 2 hours before the first race start, so we recommend arriving early to avoid lines and ensure you’re ready to run.

If a race reaches capacity, we’ll mark it as SOLD OUT on our website and close registration — otherwise, you’re always welcome to join us on race day!

If they're in a stroller, no. If they're running, yes—they need to be registered.

Yes, all of our events are along the beachfront and in parks. You will find public restrooms near the start and all along the course.

Yes,  you can safely store your items at the Race Ready Tents when picking up your bib (race number). Please bring your own bag for storage.

Yes, but we do ask that strollers line up to the side and near the back at the starting line to avoid congestion.

This is a no-refund event. All participants must acknowledge and accept this policy before completing registration. No refunds will be issued for any reason — including weather, illness, injury, acts of God, travel delays, or scheduling conflicts.
 

We strongly encourage purchasing FanShield Registration Protection at checkout. FanShield may cover qualifying issues such as illness, medical emergencies, or flight cancellations.

While we don’t offer refunds, we do allow one-time transfers to a future CaliFlow Runs event.

Simple answer: you get wet. These are rain or shine events and we will not cancel a race unless directed to do so by the city.

Our events are located in areas that have plenty of parking. It is typically steps aways from the start and finish line.

Absolutely! CaliFlow Runs welcomes all runners, walkers, and strollers. CaliFlow is an all-inclusive race. Runners, Walkers, Jogger, Yoggers are ALL WELCOME

Have NO Fear! Our courses are well-marked with a variety of methods so you don't miss the turnaround point. You do need to be paying attention to where you are running.

Our MCs will always review the course with you at the Start Line so please make sure to give them your full attention with music and headphones off.

Only registered runners can pace. Bandits (unregistered runners) will be removed from the course.

Yes. CaliFlow Runs reserves the right to refuse or revoke participation, with refund, for conduct that interferes with event operations, permitting requirements, or participant experience.

Yes! We love our four-legged runners. 🐾

Our races take place in dog-friendly parks and beaches, and our courses are open to the public—so dogs are absolutely welcome to join.

We’ll have:

• 💧 Water bowls on course and at the finish line
   
• Plenty of space for pups to stretch their legs
   
• A chill, welcoming vibe for both humans and hounds
   

Just make sure your pup is leashed, well-behaved, and ready for some coastal miles!

Yes, you're welcome to run with both!

• 🎧 Headphones are allowed, but please keep the volume low enough so you can hear voices and course instructions around you.
  Our courses are open to the public, and safety always comes first.
   
• 💧 Hydration packs, vests, and belts are welcome on course. Stay fueled, stay cool, and enjoy the miles your way!
   

Yes! We’ve got you covered.

All of our courses have 3 water stations; 2 on-course and one at the finish line. We stock them with water, gatorade, fruit snacks, sunscreen, first-aid, and happy staff members.
 

How are your races timed?
